🍗 Nugget of the Week

If you have kids in school or a super busy job, I definitely suggest leaning into some easy meal-making this fall. You don’t have to be perfect or elaborate to make great lunches. Just really focus on balance (protein + fat + carb) and almost anything is fine.

Here are a few of my favorite / quickest ideas:

  1. Boiled eggs, avocado, tomato slices

  2. Turkey + cheese roll ups, apple chips

  3. Greek yogurt, banana, walnuts

  4. Chia pudding, raspberries, crushed pecans

  5. Homemade trail mix with raw nuts, dried fruit, dark chocolate

  6. Chicken salad with dates & walnuts

  7. Turkey jerky, sliced peppers, almond flour crackers, cheese

  8. Baked sweet potato with almond butter

  9. Egg muffins, apple slices, almond butter

  10. Tuna salad with raisins, almond flour crackers

🔧Tips + Tools

  2. 9 Reasons coffee is actually good for you. (Just keep the crappy creamers out, ok?)

👩🏻‍🌾 RD-Approved

  1. I’m always asked what kind of salad dressing is best. My absolute favorite brand is Cindy’s Kitchen. The ingredient lists are short + clean, there are so many delicious flavors and their carb / fat / protein ratios are really balanced.

  2. If you have an autoimmune condition, a lot of inflammation or you’re trying to lower cholesterol, this grain-free cold cereal is a great breakfast option.
